We have all collected family research, memorabilia and heirlooms over the years. But will our family want to continue collecting these items? This program will examine how we might define our legacy and preserve and pass on family treasures to future generations. Discussion will cover how to organize, preserve, share, or let go of family papers and possessions. Kathy’s presentation will help us to avoid the overwhelm.
Kathy Nielsen is a librarian, historian and storyteller. She has hosted a virtual monthly program, All Things Relative, at the Monterey Public Library. Kathy is the co-founder of the Monterey County Genealogical Society’s special interest writing group, Off the Charts.
