About the GSSCC

The mission of the Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County is to foster and nurture interest in genealogy by providing guidance, information, and inspiration, while encouraging the broader public in the development of family histories and genealogical records.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and closure of the downtown library, the GSSCC is not currently providing staffing at the genealogy desk of the downtown library or holding general meetings with our Speaker Series as usual.  Check back here later to learn when these services might be reinstated.  We are holding virtual (Zoom) meetings at 7 PM on the first Tuesdays of the month, with speakers.  Interested persons need to RSVP to the GSSCC staff email address to receive the necessary linking information: staff@scgensoc.org
